The Dum Dum Girls Coming Down
Truly this song is a pure Gem, by the Dum Dum Girls. I found this song from adultswim's wonderful show "Off the Air" the episode is called falling.

Wild Beasts-- End comes too soon
Don't know too much about this band, but what I do know is that "End comes too Soon" is a great song. In particular at "5:43" is the best part of the song until "its end does come too soon."
Earl Sweatshirt
If there is one person left in odd future still worth listening to its Earl Sweatshirt. You can't deny the bizarre and unique talent he has on the mic. He has finished recording his debut album Doris to be released through Tan Cressida/ Columbia records soon, but no release date has been set currently. So here is a track entitled "Chum" the production has the same feel as his album Earl.

Chum
Here is a link to Earl. Its has rough lyrics but is insane for a 15 year old.
LCD Soundsytem 45:33
Sad that this wonderful band broke up! But they went out with style and dignity! Got a chance to see them twice before they broke up too, their last show at Madison Square Garden, NY, was stellar! Anyways here is a track from their 45:33 remixes album.

Roomrunner
After Double Dagger's departure from the Baltimore music scene Denny Bowen started Roomrunner, a grunge rock band that kicks ass! Check out their new release on their bandcamp below, and hey if you're around Baltimore check them out live sometime.
Cheers! Roomrunner's BandCamp
More Ford & Lopatin
UPDATE: So since I was recently blogging about Ford & Lopatin's 2010, album Channel Pressure I was revisiting the album and felt the need to post another couple songs by these guys.
Here is the song Channel Pressure:

Too much MIDI (please forgive me)
Ford & Lopatin is a colab duo between Dainel Lopatin aka
(Oneohtrix Point Never) and Joel Ford from Tigercity. I first listened to their
album “Channel Pressure” in 2010 from a good friend of mine. The album is a
texturizing blend of samples, syths, Drum Machines, and everything midi I
suppose. The duo was formerly known as Games by the way their EP “THAT WE CANPLAY” has a significantly different sound and feel. Totally worth the listen.
Anyways
on Channel Pressure I really loved the second Track Channel Pressure, it has such a
great build up and coasts off into the rest of the album perfectly. Also check
out the song Too much MIDI (Please forgive me). The original version is great the part at 1:14 is unreal,
but the Alan Braxe Remix is awesome too!

Found this Gem of a mix this morning while finishing up some homework. It is simply amazing, the music is all over the place but generally mellow and smooth. Enjoy.

The Dirty Projectors
Can't stop listening to this song off The Dirty Projector's last LP entitled "Swing Lo Magellan." I still can't decide which album by them I enjoy more, either Bite Orca or Swing Lo... Either way "there is an answer...I haven't found it...but I'll keep dancing until I do."

As I posted earlier, The Knife has released the first single from their upcoming new album. It's been 7 years, but finally new music from the Swedish brother and sister duo.
